I’m a Conservative. I’ve been a Republican defined by the fact I have not voted for a Democratic presidential candidate since being eligible to vote. I voted for both Bushes and Ronald Reagan. Although that is somewhat redundant with the previous sentence, it isn’t entirely. I tend to believe that I’m now just a Conservative because I think the Republican party has discarded my viewpoint.
I’m a husband, father, and a Christian. I served in the military (Navy) during the Vietnam era and continue to be proud of that service. I was born and raised in the Midwest by parents and grandparents who were great people, somewhere above poor and always a fond memory. This is possibly a boring paragraph but when I read commentary from someone, I always wonder who they are and where they came from.
